WorkDesk ("we," "us," or "our") provides a business management platform for professional service businesses. We collect your name, email address, phone number, job role, and business information when you create an account. Businesses using WorkDesk may enter client names, phone numbers, addresses, job notes, and photos. We also collect usage data and device information automatically.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and operate the WorkDesk platform, send job-related notifications and appointment reminders, enable team communication and job management, improve our features, and respond to support requests. We do not use your information for targeted advertising or sell it to third-party marketers.

SMS / Text Messagin

We do not sell, rent, share, or trade mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with any third party for marketing purposes — ever.

WorkDesk uses SMS messaging to send job assignments, appointment reminders, and status updates to clients and team members. Clients opt in by providing their phone number during intake or booking and giving verbal or written consent.

Message frequency varies based on job activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.

SMS messages are sent via Twilio solely for delivering the communications described above.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers (such as Twilio for SMS and Supabase for database hosting) bound by confidentiality agreements, with authorized team members within your WorkDesk account, or when required by law. We will never share mobile phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. When an account is closed, we delete or anonymize personal data within 90 days, except where required by law.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure database storage, and access controls to protect your information. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out immediately. Contact us at privacy@workdeskusa.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

WorkDesk is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Contact us immediately if you believe a child has provided us personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
